Neuroshift

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Neuroshift (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Use
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use only.
You agree not to:
- Misuse or interfere with the App or its services
- Attempt to copy, modify, reverse engineer, or extract source code
- Use the App for any unlawful or harmful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent the subscription or paywall system
2. Wellness, Not Medical Advice
Neuroshift offers general wellness techniques drawn from published neuroscience research. The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You should not use Neuroshift as a substitute for care from a qualified healthcare provider. If you have or suspect a medical condition, consult a professional.
3. Health and Safety
Before starting any exercise, read this.
Some protocols involve breathwork, breath holds, or cold exposure. These can carry risk for certain people.
Do not perform breath-hold or strong breathing exercises if you:
- Are pregnant
- Have cardiovascular conditions, epilepsy, or a history of seizures
- Have respiratory conditions such as asthma or COPD
- Are under medical care for anxiety or panic disorders without clearance from your provider
Do not perform cold-exposure protocols if you have Raynaud's disease, a cardiovascular condition, or any condition worsened by cold. Never practice breath holds in or near water, while driving, or while operating machinery.
Stop any exercise immediately if you feel dizzy, faint, unwell, or in pain. Use of the App is at your own risk.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- Neuroshift offers both free and paid content.
- Subscriptions auto-renew through the Apple App Store unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store account settings.
- Pricing, refunds, and cancellation are governed by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not handle billing directly.
- Any free-trial period converts to a paid subscription automatically unless canceled before it ends.
5. Accounts
The App does not require a user account. Personalization data is stored locally on your device. Subscription entitlement is managed anonymously through RevenueCat.
6. Intellectual Property
All content in the App — including audio narration, illustrations, text, protocols, branding, and the underlying software — is owned by or licensed to AlphaAware and protected by copyright and other laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without written permission.
7. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that:
- The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Any specific results or outcomes will occur
- The App will meet your individual needs or expectations
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlphaAware is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising out of your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of wellbeing, or personal injury from exercises performed contrary to the safety guidance above.
9. Termination
We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the App (or any part of it) at any time without notice. Your subscription rights with Apple are preserved for the period paid.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence. Any disputes will be resolved in a reasonable jurisdiction under those laws.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be highlighted in the App or on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
