This Privacy Policy explains how fusen ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
fusen puts sticky notes on your iPhone lock screen and home screen. Your notes stay on your device. We do not run a server for your notes, and the App has no account. We collect only anonymous usage events to improve the App, described below.
1. Your Notes Stay on Your Device
The notes you write, their checklists, papers, fonts, stickers, stamps, and lifetimes are stored only on your iPhone, in storage shared between the App and its widgets and Live Activities. We never receive them.
If you use iCloud or device backups, your notes may be included in those backups under Apple's own privacy terms. Deleting the App deletes the notes stored on the device.
2. Lock Screen and Widgets
The App shows your notes on the lock screen as a Live Activity and on the home screen as widgets. Anyone who can see your lock screen can read a note shown there. Do not put secrets such as passwords on a note.
3. Purchases
Purchases of fusen Pro are processed by Apple. RevenueCat receives a random anonymous identifier created by the App and your purchase receipts, so it can tell the App whether Pro is unlocked and restore your purchase. It receives no note content. We never see or store payment card details.
4. Anonymous Usage Analytics
We use PostHog to understand how the App is used, for example when a note is created, when an item is ticked, when a sticker or paper is chosen, and when the Pro screen is shown. Each event carries a random anonymous identifier created by the App, the App version, device model, operating system version, language, and region setting. Events never contain the text of your notes. We do not create a personal profile, record the screen, or combine these events with data from other companies. The same anonymous identifier is shared with RevenueCat so we can see which features lead to a purchase.
5. Voice Dictation
If you choose to dictate a note, the App uses the microphone only while you dictate, and Apple's speech recognition turns your voice into text on your device. We never receive the recording or the text.
6. What We Do Not Collect
- No account, email address, phone number, or password
- No note content leaves your device
- No advertising, no advertising identifier, and no cross-app tracking
- No location, contacts, or photos
- No push notifications
7. How We Use Information
We use the purchase information in section 3 to unlock and restore fusen Pro, and the anonymous usage events in section 4 to improve the App. We also use what you send us to answer you when you contact support. We do not sell or rent personal information.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Your notes are kept on your device until you peel them, empty them from the peeled notes list, or delete the App. Purchase records are kept by Apple and RevenueCat as long as needed to provide your purchase, and anonymous usage events are kept by PostHog, under their own policies. To ask us to delete the anonymous purchase record or usage events, email us.
9. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The anonymous usage events are not linked to a person. The App is suitable for all ages.
10. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your information. Your notes are on your device and under your control. For the purchase record and usage events, contact us at the address below. We answer within 30 days.
11. Security
Notes are protected by your iPhone's own security. Purchase information and usage events travel over encrypted connections. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be shown in the App or on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
